Check that the job the intern has been given is broadly what they were offered, if it is not and they are happy is it your responsibility to help sort this out?
Keep an eye on what the intern is asked to do to make sure it is broadly in line with what they were offered. Work of a similar or greater complexity is fine – too much work at a lower level may reduce the value they get from the whole experience and reduce your ability to be able to give a good grade if the internship is credit bearing.
