The current PRAXIS consortium consists of 44 European partners from 27 different countries. As we want to promote the European spirit and the mobility between European Higher Education Institutions, we’d like to welcome new partners.
Any institution that is concerned with higher education and students’ employability should be interested in our work and its achievements. Among them, we may stress: students, higher education institutions (HEI), employers, governmental departments related to higher education and professional associations.
Why would you join us:
Students gain: Through the PRAXIS virtual PI market students can efficiently choose from a huge amount of projects/internships set available to them. Several distinct types of PI courses are offered such as projects to be developed by international teams of students from distinct higher education institutions (MUTW) or individual internships in industry or research labs, multidisciplinary projects and other. Within their domain of interest, students get the opportunity to work at an international and intercultural level, experience the richness of teamwork, improve their technical and communication skills. The PRAXIS platform also aims to become a central place where students can consult the comprehensive resource on teaching and technical materials of relevance to the field.
Teachers gain: Teachers providing projects/internships to the PRAXIS virtual PI market are active players in this European network setting. It opens opportunities for related international activities, within their domain of interest.
HEI gain: The volume of multilateral cooperation between Higher Education Institutions in Europe increases. As knowledge is shared, the quality of European education as a whole improves.
Industry gains: Our economy highly depends on technology. Therefore complex technical problem solving skills are required, combined with excellent technical communication skills. There’s an increasing need for international and multidisciplinary teams.
EHEA gains: Through the PRAXIS network project the European higher education area becomes more visible and attractive.
