The position is for international Theatre Festival which is the biggest theatre festival and one of the most important international events in Slovakia. It is a selection-based showcase of European theatre with an emphasis on drama and innovative forms of performing arts, also characterised by the way it goes beyond the boundaries of genres and styles. Aiming to be open and diverse, the Festival offers a set of multi-art accompanying events falling under the following categories: theatre, film, visual arts, music, art in public space. It encourages public discourse and pursues non-formal education.
Position description: The intern will be responsible for foreign guests, their evidence and registration. Other skills will include communication with PR department, ticket management, accommodation, processing invitations, accompanying guests during morning discussions and other festival events.
Qualifications:
• Fluent English
• Word, Excel- basic
• Good communication skills and good manners
• Interest in culture/theatre
• Good self time management
• Self confidence
Knowledge, skills and competence to be acquired:
Intern will gain new experience in cultural sector, in organization of biggest theatre festival in Slovakia. Will get a chance to meet international guests, improve his communication skills and get knowledge how the management and organization of festival looks like in real life.
