The Host Company

The host company is a manufacturer of filters used for engineering purposes. They are based in the Robin Hood city of Nottingham. They design, manufacture and supply a range of filter products for many industrial requirements. Filtration needs are in safe hands from start to finish and besides that the company offers guidance and training to enable their customers to get the most out of their products.

The host company has built up an enviable reputation over the last 4 decades and is known as a competitive company combining excellent customer support with quality products. Their own Design, Research and Development department enables them to continually look into improving their products and pass the benefits on to their customers.

Over the last few years the companies has gone through a period of sustained growth and are now looking to concentrate on expanding their export markets.

The Placement

The host company is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to assist them with their business development across a number of market sectors. The company has recently moved to new premises and developed a range of new products, which they are keen to market to a wider audience, exploiting a number of different mediums. The applicant should be forward thinking and skilled within all aspects of marketing.

The application is open to all nationalities but the applicants should possess basic business and industrial product knowledge in order to understand the products and customer needs. The main tasks during the placement will be creating marketing materials, website development, attracting new clients and improving the brand position of the organisation. With your creative, innovative and self-starting approach you will develop brochures, websites and work on (internet) marketing.

The placement represents an excellent opportunity to demonstrate and develop business skills in a growing and developing organisation.
