Data is at the heart of all Organizations, a key asset that when properly managed and used is able to generate competitive advantage. The majority companies have suffered “losses, problems, or costs” due to poor quality and inconsistency data in their systems.
Wipro customers are organizations that are always trying to optimize their business processes and reduce their operating costs. The control and anticipation Data Quality issues is a key area that contributes to cost savings across the different departments in the organization. Some of the benefits are:
Driven by the customers need to evaluate the consistency of data in several integrated systems, Wipro has developed an application that helps their customers achieve proficiency, trust in the system information and reduce support (and predict) issues on an optimized way.
Wipro’s Data Reconciliation Tool (DRT) monitors and alerts data inconsistencies found between Operational System, Financial, Data Warehouse and any other systems integrated within a complex company’s IT architecture.
Objectives / Goals
The goal of this project is to integrate the innovation team that is responsible for leveraging the current application to use the most up-to-date technologies available on the market and evolve the application to a whole new level by adding additional functionality based on the market requirements.
In this particular role, will be developed knowledge on database and web based front-end development with multi-device adaptability (including interactive reports and dashboards).
This internship will give the opportunity to grow the technological knowledge alongside with the most knowledgeable professionals in the Retail area.
By the end of the project you will deliver a new and fresh front-end application with interactive dashboards and with a seamless user experience across all the devices. During the internship will also be experienced the entire full-cycle process of developing an application and deliver a fully working version of the application to be implemented in our worldwide customers.
Working Plan
This project will have the duration of 6 months. During this period the candidate will have the opportunity to participate in the activities in scope for this solution:
Skills required / Skills to be developed
Responsible for development and implementation of small to medium components should be able to work on problems of limited scope, through usage of standard software development concepts and principles.
The candidate will work with different technologies and will acquire know-how over DRT tool.
