MetGen Oy is currently an innovative SME with 19 experienced employees, based in Kaarina in south-western Finland. Protein engineering is MetGen’s core competence. Now we are searching for new talents to join our international group of experts and support the fast growth of the company.
2 Internship Positions in Application Testing Group
MetGen is searching for 2 internship candidates for at least 3 months (preferably longer) project. The projects could start as early as November 2017. Candidates must have received a European grant and be affiliated to a European Institution (University, Polytechnical School…). Successful candidates will be studying the impact of MetZyme® on biomass conversions in pulp and paper, biorenewables and wastewater industries. Projects will cover basic laboratory routines and more precisely biomass characterization, enzyme screening, reporting and presentation of results in front of the company.
Work language at MetGen is English and good knowledge of MS office tools is always seen as a plus.
