EDIPUS is a project funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme that aims at enhancing the chances of employability of students and young job seekers all across Europe. This ambitious objective will be reached through the creation of a Digital Portfolio Portal (DPP), namely an online platform where students can create their digital portfolio of experiences and subsequently get discovered by potential employers in an innovative way. The DPP aims at replacing the traditional Curriculum Vitae, offering students a smart and up-to-date way to present themselves in the current job market.
is involved at the EDIPUS project through the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. In total there are seven partners working together in this project financed by the ERASMUS+ programme. The main goal of EDIPUS is to provide students with a tool for the active search for employment and structuring of the their professional career.
In this context, several workshops are being organized in several European countries including Cyprus, Spain, Belgium, Greece, Austria, Portugal and Italy, between February and March. The participants will have the opportunity of winning the “EDIPUS DPP” that will choose the best portfolio. The winner of this competition will assure a free place at the Academic Student Conference 2017, that will take place between 15th to 19th of November, in Cyprus. The second and third classified will receive tablets. Participants will receive a certificate of participation and a set of useful suggestions for the design and the improvement of their professional portfolio.
