MR MARVIS is looking for a proactive and hands-on E-Commerce Management intern to support our marketing and customer experience teams while exploring growth opportunities in the German market.
We are looking for an intern who is excited to explore the journey our customers make during all interactions with our company. From pre-purchases steps: market research, website optimisation, contacting local companies… to the post-purchase stage: delivering superior service to our customers, improving their experience, and adapting the marketing strategy to the German market.
You can quickly solve problems for customers when things don’t go 100% as planned and have an interest in making MR MARVIS feel like a native brand in Germany. You will learn about e-commerce, retail, marketing, and grasp the challenges a start-up faces. The internship is at least 6 months and will start in 2020 per September. A longer internship period is possible.
Providing support to a broad set of e-Commerce operations relevant to Germany, like:
Translations for the website, advertising, email marketing, offline marketing
Assisting the customer support team by taking care of customer issues/questions
Working on website updates (products, look and feel, etc.)
Supporting the CRM & E-Commerce Operations manager on various tasks (email marketing/analytics, Excel, Shopify, Google Analytics)
Being in touch with German companies/freelancers that work with MR MARVIS
Performing market research and presenting your findings to management
Pitching (marketing) ideas to promote our success in the German market
Job related skills
Currently enrolled in an HBO (higher education) or University level education
Native in German and fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus
Clear communication skills
